Mixed Fortunes for Tigers at Newcastle

Trent Leverington was unlucky not to make the final of yesterday's Newcastle Individual meeting after a god display although late stand in Lee Dicken had a more difficult afternoon.

Trent finished on 9 points, one shy of making the final. Heat 11 was the one that proved costly for the Glasgow skipper when he finished at the rear behind eventual winner Jason Doyle and home riders Jerran Hart and Christian Henry.

Other than that outing, where Trent was off one of the poorest gates, he had been very consistent recording a first and three seconds in his other four rides.

Lee did not fare so well and appeared to struggle, his recent busy spell all over the country perhaps taking a bit of a toll on him as well as his bikes. He only managed one point, in his final outing .
