Glasgow have received a massive blow ahead of this weekends fixtures with the news that Shane Parker is not yet ready to return to action.

Following injury and serious illness, Shane had hoped to consider returning to action this weekend but that hope was dashed following a visit to the specialist yesterday and he has been ordered to sit out for a while longer yet although no exact timescale is known.

It had seemed quite an optimistic hope to return this weekend but it is still a major blow for Glasgow who have undoubtedly missed the influence of their top man.
