Trent Confirmed a Diamond

Trent Leverington has been confirmed as one of Newcastle's starting line up for the 2009 season at their Christmas party this evening.

After Glasgow were unable to fit him into their line up, rumours have been rife about where Trent was going to ride next season, so much so that Berwick took the step last week of coming out and confirming he wouldn't be riding for them.

Many felt that Stoke were a probably option but it is the Diamonds who have won his signature for 2009 with Trent joining Jason King, Casper Wortmann and Craig Branney in the line up so far.

Newcastle have certainly got themselves an excellent team man in Trent and we wish him well for 2009.
