Robin already technically has three clubs this season, all of them in Sweden. He is part of the Elit Vetlanda squad in the top league having ridden for them as a junior last season. Unfortunately his appearances last year were extremely limited as Robin had a bad year last year with injuries, most notably to his neck, head and arm.
His main team in Sweden is Valsarna, a team that has a few riders with Edinburgh connections including Jonasson but also features former Tiger Kauko Nieminen.
He is also riding this season for Lotsarna in the unofficial division two in Sweden, a league which runs differently to the others as it is based on meetings comprising of three teams of five riders each.
After a season to forget thanks to injury last season, Robin has made a very impressive start to this year in Sweden which is what brought him to the Tigers attention.
Like many Scandinavians, Robin started on 80cc bikes and was only denied a Championship win at that level due to an engine failure.
This will be his first time riding in the UK although he did previously have a short spell with Torun in Poland in 2006 and as an assessed average rider he will come in on a 7 point average
